Will my prints look the same as they do on the site?
Generally, yes. Of course, different monitors reproduce colours differently, so it cannot be guaranteed that pictures will look exactly the same. However, variations - if any - should be very slight.

What will the quality of my prints be?
All our pictures are printed on carefully calibrated Noritsu machines at a professional photolab using the classic silver chalide process, which is to say you are getting real photographs. We print on Kodak Royal photopaper. Your prints will arrive with white borders uncut for ease of framing.

Do you offer framing services?
Not yet. We do plan on selling framed prints in the future; for now, if you'd like to buy a framed photograph, please contact us for a custom quote.
An important note: sizes for prints are to be used as guidelines only. This means do not buy frames before you've got your pictures. Photos are cropped differently, so aspect ratios might not match the sizes exactly.

Are your prints signed?
If you want them to be. When ordering, you'll happen by a special requests box - leave a note there.

What if I want a print in a size that you do not offer?
Email us and we'll see what can be done.

I saw a photograph taken by you but it's not available at the store. Can I still have a print?
Most likely yes. Drop me a line and we'll figure it out.

How do I find a picture I want?
Either look through categories or use the search function. Each photo is supplied with a comprehensive set of keywords, so finding anything should be easy. For example, a picture of an airplane will respond to queries for 'plane', 'airplane', 'aerial', 'flight', 'sky', 'clouds' and so on.

Is it safe to pay for my prints online? Is your site secure?
We accept credit cards through PayPal. This process is secure.

I don't have a PayPal account. I don't want to sign up to use it just once!
Not a problem at all. Now you do not have to be registered with PayPal to make a payment with your credit card. You will simply go through regular one-time checkout process.

I don't use credit cards.
Money order or check will be just fine. Order pictures, print out your invoice and mail your payment to the address we will supply.

Must I register at the Photostore to make a purchase?
No, it isn't necessary. But it's a good thing if you do: you will be able to track your orders, and your shipping info and order history are saved.

What is the turnaround time?
Normally about a week. You will receive three notifications from us: first when your order is accepted, second when payment is cleared, and third when the prints are shipped.

What are your shipping rates?
All orders ship for a flat fee of $10. The more you order, the more you save on postage!

I want to buy prints and send them to someone as a gift directly.
Just specify the mailing address at checkout. Also, let us know if you'd like us to include a card with your gift.
