I have a spare for Manchester 1 (standing). If anyone here wants it or knows someone who's interested, let me know.

Am I missing something? Either these assholes have a bunch of non-vegans on their 'vegan club' apparel, or Thom's gone vegan. Probably the former.

Thom is vegetarian, not vegan. He has talked about eating cheese.

A lot of people on twitter were mentioning the show "Black Mirror", as if Thom's tweets were quotes from the show. Who knows though. I am watching " Blac Mirror" so yea. Go Thom, I guess.  :sunshine:

Erik and I are watching that. It's amazing. I have a lot of catching up to do, however.

his activism has always tended towards political, not individual. i imagine if you asked him about it, he would explain he doesn't give a fuck what people eat, he wants governments to come up with real solutions to climate change / ending fossil fuels. unfortunately there isn't any thing any one person can do to change what's happening to our planet. we spend our time biking to the grocery store and rinsing out glass containers when that time would probably be better spent writing letters and calling politicians.

(the band did do that study on the environmental impact of their own concerts, but besides counting carpoolers a few times and storing stage equipment in the US, i'm not sure what the overall impact was. oh, and they sold those water bottles ... let's not discuss those ...)

Edited to add: Well, they have Russell Brand on there, so that explains that (he's made a big deal about not eating animals, but actually still does). Yep, most of the people on their artwork ARE indeed vegan, but it appears they aren't too careful with others.

Eh, new recordings, 100+ pages of Thom's scribbles, 90 mins of studio outtakes: I'm sold. Radiohead sure know how to grab my money.  :colin:

I was just thinking I would've paid that money even if the box contained only the original album + B-Sides and Thom's scribbles. :colin:

My only complaint - there's no CD included.
